Kohl Mansion Wedding - Burlingame

Sabrina and Matt, I just love this couple, this is the simplest way to say how much I appreciate their special bond between each other, furthermore they’re just the kind of people that make you smile, is that cheesy? ,well it’s true. Going back to their first photoshoot, which was their engagement session, was simply a lot of fun and we ended up hanging out and talking for an hour or so after the shoot was over. We also did a walkthrough of Kohl Mansion together prior to their wedding which added to the excitement for their wedding day.

The backdrop of the mansion was fitting for this wedding party, they were a fun group as you’ll see later on the dancefloor.

The grounds around the mansion were simply beautiful for bride and groom portraits.

The all white cake room is classic.

These are probably the tallest ceilings I have ever seen in a wedding reception, amazing.

I have to say something about this picture in particular. This was a heartwarming and also funny moment that captured the room. This handshake followed the “Anniversary Dance” where all married couples dance and the emcee asks the couples to leave the floor after he calls out escalating years of marriage. After, I think it was 62 years of marriage the couple on the left was beat out by just a few months and the two gentleman pictured shook hands as if they were saying “good game.” Myself and the wedding guests behind me were laughing at this gentlemanly moment that was also inspiring.

At the end of the night we went to the grand staircase to make one last creatively lit portrait.
