Ocean & Cliffs makes Ritz Carlton HMB Amazing

Gwen & Daniel's wedding became a wedding that made me feel as if I was apart of the family.  Partly because I photographed Gwen's sisters wedding two years prior, but mostly because the couple along with their extended families were extremely warm and friendly.

The morning preparations of hair and makeup in robes while drinking champagne culminated when the bridesmaids and mom saw Gwen in her wedding dress for the first time.  The ocean view in the grand suite at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay was the perfect setting.

Prior to the wedding Gwen met Daniel for a first look.

and the crew enjoyed a toast just before the wedding took place.

Gwen's brother yet again walked another one of his sisters down the isle in honor of their father.

After the ceremony we made quick work photographing bride and groom portraits, some of which were highly technical.

Here my assistants and I created a six photo panoramic stitched enviromental portrait.  The couple has a pop of strobe light from a powerful studio strobe set just 10' away, the strobe was removed in photoshop and is the reason we were able to create a colorful blue sky during mid afternoon sun!

Gwen's maid of honor had a big fan watching her speak, her daughter and husband!  Daniel's father was deeply touched by the day and he had a harmony to his speech delievery which was endeering.

Susie Cakes created this two tiered creation.  Allure Flowers and event planning by Woodrich Events made the day run smoothly.

Towards the end of a wedding I like to either take the couple out for a sunset photo or an evening photo, here we showcased the water feature and the blue night sky at the Half Moon Bay Golf Links.

All in all this couple and their whole family made this wedding photography crew feel like we were at a family gathering instead of working at a wedding, and we couldn't ask for anything more.
